I find myself writing this blog by the kind interest of my excellent spiritual mentor and teacher, HD Goswami (Howard J. Resnick , Ph.D) whom I met in 1994 after a long search. I had been struggling to understand yoga philosophy for years. It is not so easy to understand spiritual teachings without a qualified teacher and many so-called teachers are either lacking in knowledge or sincerity. I find myself increasingly and profoundly indebted to HD Goswami, who introduced me to the wisdom of both the Bhagavad-Gita and the novels of Jane Austen. He also spared no effort to convince me to take a swing at writing. This blog is my attempt to ‘pay it forward’ as I continue explore bhakti-yoga and Jane Austen.

A Stanford study, “Your Brain On Jane Austen” explains the benefits.

HD Goswami was trained in this science of spiritual consciousness by his own teacher (guru), His Divine Grace, A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami, who came from India to the west. Now, HD Goswami has begun a new project called Krishna West, in order to bring the teachings of Bhagavad-Gita to western people in a relevant and pleasing way.

If anyone is interested in yoga and philosophy, and would like to access more lectures on how to apply bhakti-yoga practice in their life, please visit HD Goswami’s YouTube channel or Facebook page. Also check out Krishna West in London, Germany and Israel and many other cities!
